Back in SF for one night only!
I’m really excited about this lineup. Baron Vaughn is one of my absolute favorite NY comics and human beings. You’ve seen him on Comedy Central and VH1’s Best Week ever. He’s so unique and theatrical 5000. This will be his first time in San Francisco, so don’t miss this rare opportunity to check him out!
I love visitors
I was really worried that I’d be super lonely in NY. But thank goodness, it’s such a dope city, a different homie or two comes from Cali every single weekend to visit. My dear friends Aleessa and Jason are in town and have pretty much, made my week.
Home-made Pho Slide Show
NY has awful Vietnamese food. The problem is that there are no Jungle Asians here. The few pho joints that exist, are so Chinese-owned. Bootleg, soy-sauce, hello kitty with teeth pho. Gross.
So I decided to just make the damn thing by myself. Turned out delicious!
There are four photos below in slide-show format. Peep em.

Glasses Party
Summertime in NYC
Williamsburg is a neighborhood in Brooklyn, where Terry Richardson in a v-neck, Asian fetish, fixed gear bikes and kombucha all had a huge orgy and pooped out Vice Magazine paper dolls. I used to make fun, but now I’ve just fully given in, to the fun of it all. I went to a fun free “pool party” by the water last Sunday. I ran into my old buddy CK and someone from the Gothamist...
Louis CK
One of my favorite things about living in NYC, is that I get to watch the Michael Jordans of comedy, perform every night. I recently watched Louis CK do an hour of brand new material, a lot of which, was flying on airplanes…which is normally considered hack and overplayed. But he has this way of talking about simple everyday relatable subjects, that is so fresh and most importantly,...

Thank You SF WEEKLY
According to the SF WEEKLY, I’m the “Best Comedian” in San Francisco! Exciting surprise of the day dot com. Here’s what they wrote about me:
“Comedians are often ambitious egotists with poor boundaries who aren’t hiding how intelligent they are. Ali Wong is all of that, plus she has the things that really matter: wit, timing, experience, and a unique hairdo....

MONDAY, JUNE 22nd!
I’m producing my very first show in NYC, on Monday, June 22nd. Save the date. The lineup is going to be killer.
DERRICK Comedy
I met Donald Glover the first night I came to NY. We did a small, but very fun show together at Arlene’s Grocery. He’s only 25 years old, but has already won an Emmy for writing for 30 Rock. His sketch group DERRICK has a huge cult following. Watch the video and you’ll see why. They have a movie that showed at Sundance, and will probably get picked up by Pixar.
The Prigs
I did a show at Piano’s the other night, and this band played after. Todd Barry watched them for two songs, and told me that they were really really good, and that they were going to be huge. So I had to go in and see for myself, and they were indeed, incredible. These videos don’t do them justice, and unfortunately, there’s no recording of my favorite of their songs: “San...
